Thanks to nice weather and school being out for the season, summertime is often a popular stretch for families to take a vacation, and embark on an adventure to an unfamiliar area.  In fact, for many families, it is an annual summer tradition.

One of the most exciting parts of taking annual trips is trying to determine what your next destination will be.  Often times, individuals, families or travel groups will search for something that is truly unique, and travel to an unforgettable destination where they experience something they haven’t before.  If you are searching for a great place to visit this summer; then why not consider coming to the Arctic Circle?

The Arctic Circle has many exciting summer adventures, and many scenic sights to see.  1st Alaska Outdoor School offers an Arctic Circle summer tour from Fairbanks, Alaska that allows guests to experience the many thrilling features of the area.  The journey includes a firsthand look at the Alaskan pipeline, a trip across the illustrious Yukon River, and a hike in the picturesque Finger Mountain. Additionally, guests can visit Joy Alaska, the trading post of the Arctic Circle and eat at authentic Alaskan places.  Plus, and perhaps best of all, travelers will have the opportunity to have their picture taken at the Arctic Circle, and have an official Arctic Circle certificate to show off to family and friends.

As we discussed in a previous post, travelers will also be able to benefit from having an experienced local guide to lead them to all of the best places.  If you would like to learn more about the Arctic Circle tours offered by 1st Alaska Outdoor School, please contact us at your convenience.
