Every year more people visit Alaska and Fairbanks in the winter time.

The main attractions are the marvelous Aurora Borealis also called Northern Lights, Dog Mushing or Dog Sledding, and Ice Fishing.

Alaska is a winter wonderland. –  Fun filled day activities and the magnificent Aurora Borealis Tours at night can be enjoyed in a safe manner even in extreme sub 0 temperatures. To travel in arctic winter condition takes experience and the right winter clothing.

1st Alaska Tours provides arctic gear (boots, pants, parkas, mittens) for outdoor activities.  Our well trained local guides will present to you the best Aurora Borealis viewing spots outside the Fairbanks city lights and light pollution.

These sites are carefully selected so our guests have a maximum chance to experience the “Dancing of the Northern Lights”.

Our Fairbanks Northern Lights Tours are a wonderful, magical experience we don’t recommend missing out on.
